I am appreciating the photographs AND the verses you have displayed with them, the last three posts are beautiful. And we listen to the same music, I have and do listen to all the selections on your play list.

And thanks for the education on Loons!

What a beautiful view Shelley. It can be difficult to find a scene like that as the water is usually frozen. I would guess the snow melted not long after this photo was taken. Come on Spring!

Dawnie - It certainly does! Especially when you see the melting snow.

Darla - thank you!

Pam - thanks so much!

Cedar - YOu would've loved it - especially hearing the sound of the running water.

Mildred - It was a great place just to watch the water and trees.

Benny & Patsy - I was checking the water to see if I could see any fish... lol!

Busy Bee - thank you!

Tina - I have to say - it was one of my better winter days - I didn't get frost bite for once while snapping photos. ha,ha!

Betsy - I love seeing the moving water in the winter. Especially since my animals and birds will have a place to get a drink!

Deborah - Winter Weary is a great word. I'm going to use it to describe myself. :-)

Judy - thank you for saying that! I think I will add it to my nature store and put it on a card. I always appreciate feedback like that!!

Nature Lovin - I wasn't sure. We took a ride all the way down Wilkenson Road (pass Tree Tops.) I meant to get out our map to look it up - but maybe you know? It was right before we hit farm country.

Robert - You are right once again. Nature makes no mistakes.

Kathy - you are very nice and I appreciate your comments! Glad you like the music - I was hoping to set the tone!

Willard - thank you kindly!

Rambling - if you could've heard the running streams and the birds chirping -it was wonderful!

New England - It was an especially sunny day. My lake in front of our cabin is just starting to break up...all good signs!

Charli - thank you!

leedra - I will take that as the ultimate compliment!

Tricia - so glad you liked it! We had gone driving around that day in search of views we hadn't seen yet - so this was a nice surprise!

Gorgeous! I've been out of the blogging loop for a few weeks. Life has just been too hectic. I missed looking at your photos.

I just returned from a trip to Arizona where I saw Monument Valley. It was breath-taking. I just posted a couple of photos on my blog last night of my Arizona trip. I will be posting more photos of Arizona on my blog in the next couple of days.

It just doesn't get any prettier than this Shelley! This image would make a perfect postcard!

hummm, I know that area well, but I need a lil more info....was there a cabin on the other side of the road? it has a cute lil bench outside overlooking the river. if so, than that is the pigeon...about 5 miles downstream for the headwaters. if you went to sparr then it could have also been the black river. hope that helped!
