Lake

A lake is the landscape's most beautiful and expressive feature. It is earth's eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature.

What a pretty photo Shelley. The water looks so clear. Will you be going to the cabin this weekend?

Hello Shelley,

Nice pic of the lake. Denise is at the cabin until Monday. We are hoping to see you guys at the Kirtland's warbler festival on Saturday. Give Denise a call at the cabin.

I wish I could find a bird book with both male and female to gather. Do you know of one? I know I miss a lot not knowing what some females look like.

Shellmo-your blog brings back fantastic memories of my winter skiing, a little fall hunting and lots of summer water and party fun growing up in Michigan.

Your photo's are outstanding.

Michigan -great lakes -great times. Grand Haven, Saugatuck, Traverse City, Petoskey, Lake Chalevoix, Big Bear Island, Mackinac Insland, Drummond Island.

L.O.L. Now if I could just listen to some 60's music on your Blog I'd be in Heaven. :}

Many years ago I needed to move to that state south of Michigan.

Thanks for the photo's & memories-Bill

Water, whether a lake, river, or little brook always seems to bring peace and contentment to my soul. Your photo worked too!

Such a perfect view, with just a few light ripples coming to the shore.

Shelley,

What a gorgeous photo. It never ceases to amaze me how clear the waters of Michigan lakes are.
