In the moment

With the past, I have nothing to do; nor with the future. I live now.

What a cool photo. You have such an amazing talent. As far as the mushrooms go, we had the rain last week but it didn't warm up. Now up here it's way too dry. We may get rain tonight or tomorrow.

If I could remember that each day,but as I work on my ancestry The Bennie said I live to much in the past.I think about it all of the time. And I read to many books about the past. I like the little chipmunk. Have not seen any here. Did you hear about those White Deer that live in you State?

aren't chipmunks just the best little woodland buddies? You got a great shot of this one!

Is that Chip or is it Dale?

Perfect quote! And what a cute little chipmunk. How is the weather up by you? Finally warming up? Looks like it must be warm enough to enjoy your kayak.

I've never seen a chipmunk supressing a giggle before (but I suspected they did) Great capture, as always!

Pam - you are too sweet!! I meant to ask you, are you going to be at one of the Gaylord's Art & Craft show this summer with your baskets? The one they're having 1 Saturday per month? The 1st one is June 6. I'm going to be there w/ my photos and gift stuff. I hope you are able to find lots of good mushrooms!

Benny & Patsy - I like reminsce too! And I did hear about those albino deer - I think they're in Grayling - 15 miles south of us.

Nature Lovin - I wish all my moments were up north! :-)

jeannette - you're right about that comment moderation - I've been burned so many times! Love your blog by the way!

Cedar - this guy has made our property his home. I love investigating his little holes and watching him chirp on top of the woodpile to announce to everybody that this is his territory. :)

Busy Bee - it might be Alvin. He was kind of loud! :)

Mildred - I think they're cute too! Last summer I was feeding them out of my hand.

Darla - thank you!

Tina - he's the loudest & most active in the morning! :-0

Retired One - I gave this one his own feeder as a bribe.

Ashley - it's been in the 60's. Still a little cool if I tip in the kayak - LOL!

Deborah - they are humorous little things arent' they? :)

Tricia - I was on the deck above. I cropped this to bring him closer.

Nature Girl - they are one of my favorite "neighbors"!

JR and Sue - thanks so much! Glad you stopped by!

Isn't he adorable? We have a ground squirrel living in a bush by my front door. It's kind of an odd place - I don't know why he picked there!
I saw the log cabin bird houses! Those would be so cute at your cabin! SHOW ME!!!! (hehehe)

Oh this is precious, Shelley! We have lots of little Chippers on our property, but they're way more skittish than the squirrels, so I can't get quite as close with my camera!
