Home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.

Thank you sooo much for taking the time to read my post today & for your comment - very much appreciated. He's making really good money, especially for this part of the country, and also gets a lot of help from his parents. But your ideas help me out tremendously!!! Thank You Again!!!

BTW - your photo today reminds me of my parents farm - my mom & dad have put birdhouses all over their property and watch the birds daily! Again, Thank You!

Lovely message.
Your header image is quite shocking at first glance but I suppose it's a law of Nature..curious how this animal died?

Ms. Hays - Thank you for stopping by! My prayers are with you.

Leedra - thank you!

Betsy - I think I have some extra snow for you!

Trying to stay calm - much thanks!

Hi Naturegirl - in the header, that is a "roadkill" deer. A gentleman collects these and feeds them to the eagles to prevent them from coming too close to the busy interstate and getting hit by cars. (There's a place where a group of eagles hang out, and once the water is frozen - they come closer to the road to feed on road kill.) So this gentleman puts it farther in the field to keep the eagles safe.
