What a lovely photograph. So very pretty to look at the detail of the bird.
Now that is a good one coming from him,but me too.
Patsy
Me too! Lovely shot, and I am enjoying your snow.
Nice photo, it seems as though winter has settled in, in your area.
I'll second that comment from Lindburgh,... and from him, what a statement!
The woodpecker probably doesn't know how easy she's got it compared to the eagle. Standing trees outnumber dead...moose?... by far!
That is such a beautiful picture. We have about 2 feet of snow up by Gaylord. I'm at the computer looking out the window at the birds at our feeder. Have a great day.
Pam
Very beautiful. I just found you; I live in Michigan too; in the Thumb. I recently moved to Michigan;well about five yrs now. I live on a farm and love the rural nature; your photos are beautiful. I have been to Gaylord to the Harley dealer and the quilt shop! So pretty there! Merrie
A very nice photograph indeed! Great composition and those blk and whites on her just make her pop off the screen! Nice!
Awesome!
Mildred - thank you! The Hairy Woodpecker is one of my faves!
B&P - I think so too!
Darla - Me too! We are driving up to the cabin on Saturday and I guess it's been snowing the past 3 days!
John - I think it is the calm before the storm right now....
Cedar - I thought that was a remarkable comment from him too!
Deborah - plus she has so many suet cakes to choose from on our property! :-)
Hi Pam - I heard there was a lot of snow there! We are driving up Sat. - wish us luck!
Merrie - So glad to meet another Michigander! I have some gaylord photos on my log cabin blog too! Love that town!
Tina - thank you!
Trying to stay calm - thanks! Glad you stopped by!
He was a smart man. I wonder what all the fees being tacked on to flying is going to do to flying. When I go to Alaska I want to drive, yes all the way from Tennessee.
I really like this photo. Excellent color, composition, and of course an appealing subject.
