Winter Wonderland

We woke up yesterday morning to see our snow covered world at our log cabin. Little Bradford Lake was so calm and peaceful. There were numerous birds - woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees and more enjoying all the bird feeders we had put out. It felt like a winter wonderland!

Wow! That is so, so pretty. We have to see pictures of ice and snow to know what it looks like. We do turn the sprinkler on when it freezes to make icicles for the children, well, and me too.

AAAAAHHHH! You have snow!
It was flurrying here this morning, but none on the ground.

Oh wait, it starting to stick to the bushes!

Very nice picture!

That first dusting is always so magical. What a lovely view. Perfect for sitting with coffee by a big window and taking it all in...

Hi Shelley, What a fantastic place to live. That's a beautiful wintery photo. Where I am in SW England, we are lucky if we see a few flakes of snow each winter! (-:

Looks like a great day to curl up by a woodstove with a good cup of coffee and a great book!

Oh my gosh. Your picture is absolutely beautiful! I can see why you love your cabin so much. Charli likes the snow but she doesn't like rain. she refuses to go out in it.

We haven't had any snow yet in this area but it's that time of year where it could happen any day.

Another beautiful shot. I almost got some snow last season. It snowed where it normally doesn't and stopped just about 10 miles from me. No fair! I could have had some interesting shots. Back to your photo. Beautiful!! :-)

I can't believe that winter is almost here. I will not get snow like you do, but we will get a dusting once or twice. I can "feel" your photo. I remember the winter.

It looks like a winter wonderland. Beautiful, as long as I can stay inside with the cat.
