What a place for a walk with those you love. So quiet and serene looking! You've capture a great mood with this shot and your quote says it all ...enjoy! I am enjoying these posts, Shelly!
We don't get much snow in Kentucky (although we happen to have snow flurries right now). It may snow once or twice in the winter and when it does, it is usually no more than 2 inches. Once every few years we may get 4 inches or so. I enjoy the snow.
It's true: winter was a time probably when less work had to be done, or could be done ... we're not as much in tune with the season's as our ancestors.
I love "Up North" and have appointed myself the unofficial travel ambassador for Northern Michigan. There are so many great things to do - visit the State Parks, ski, snowmobile, view elk, see the moose of Isle Royale, hike, kayak, visit a winery, bird watch and so much more. Please join me in my travels. -Shelley

Love the quote, Shelley... That road looks like a great place for a horse-drawn sleigh ride (like Currier and Ives).... Hmmmmmm!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I love this photo, but as you know I love the trees along the narrow roads and trails. Felt like you posted this one for me. It is beautiful. Thanks!
There is just something about the snow and the woods. Special!

Do you like to cross country ski? That road looks like a perfect spot for enjoying a quiet ski out in the woods.
Beautiful, is that the same road as before? Great quote again. I really need some more coffee after seeing that.....brrrrrrr
Great snow photos, we haven't had any snow yet but it could happen any day.

Here in Australia, we're less than a week from summer!
That shot is a wonderful composition. Well done!

B&P - Thank you!
Cedar - I'm a big snow shoer and downhill skier - but am thinking about giving cross country a whirl!
Hi Darla - this the main 2 track road into my in-law's cabin. The other photos were of their long driveway.
John - I'm hoping for some more snow this weekend!
Tina - thank you - so glad you like this!

Yes, we are going to enjoy winter
Perfectly lovely shot. I'm learning to enjoy winter now that I keep my eye behind the camera. Here's from David's.
I'm humming 'Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?'
Lovely pic. Here from POTD
What a great view to enjoy! I really like that quote!
Over from David's . . .
