Where's the road?

The snow continues to fall in Gaylord. When I walked out to the car this morning, the snow reached my calves! It does look so beautiful coming down. This photo is of our street, can't tell where the road begins or ends.

Howdy,

Here it is thanksgiving and we have yet to have any snow in Colorado. I have expected to be snowshoeing by now up in the high country but there by now but it has been too warm.

Your winter pictures are lovely. Perhaps we came up the the UP too early :)

Fill the bird feeders, and enjoy staying in where it's cozy! Lovely shot of the trees and road!

That is some pretty deep snow! You must have to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get out that street! Very serene and quiet looking! :)

Gaylord, Michigan - I watch a web cam from there - The Snowman Cam!!!
It sure is pretty there - snow on the pines!

Oh my goodness! So how do you know where to go when you drive? Good memory? I still think it is beautiful!

Shellmo, it's gorgeous. Where is the snow plow?
We had an early light snow, but none since. Usually by now we've got a good snow. I am not that anxious for it though...I don't like the icy sidewalks in town.
But sitting inside and watching it come down is so peaceful.

B&P - Perfect description!

Cedar - My birds are going to need to go to weighwatchers in the sprint - lol!

Tina - a 4 wheeler is a definite must! My Mariner is handling pretty well I must say.

Ms. Hays - I watch that same snowman cam - love it!

Darla - improvisation - ha,ha!

Leedra - a fire sounds nice!

Betsy - come on over!

wendy - more is coming!

Ginger - the plow was a little late - so we made our own tracks! lol!

Looks kinda like our street, but not up to my calf! Yikes...kind of missing my 4 wheel drive these days...became a mini van mama this summer. I think I'll be using hubby's 4 wheel auto this winter!

So pretty!! We are in the midst of a mucky ice pellet/freezing rain storm that is not pretty at all. Give me snow over this anyday.

The snow is beautiful! Here in Kentucky we only get snow a couple of times during the winter, and it usually isn't more than an inch or two. Once in a blue moon we might get 4 inches or so.

Hi Shelley, We went downstate for Thanksgiving and came back yesterday (Sunday). The only place in the state with lots of snow was YOUR area! Of course, that was yesterday. Today everybody has it!

WE used to go up to Gaylord to go snowmobiling. Haven't done that in awhile. It was beautiful! We could go for hours & not see anyone just nature and Snow! I do remember that you had to watch where you got off your snowmobile or you could step in snow up to your waist.
Even though we get quite a bit if snow here in northern Indiana, I was still amazed when we would go up there.
