The wonder of trees

The wonder is that we can see these trees and not wonder more.

That almost looks like a white ribbon wound around that tree trunk. Must have been the way the wind was blowing and how the snow caught in the tree's bark. Interesting!

No matter how much I hate being snowed in here in Michigan, you cannot beat the beauty of the trees in the snow.........

That is a cool comment about it looking like ribbon. I was going to say that it looked like someone painted snow on it to make it pretty!

Shelley, You know that my favorite snow pictures are ones like yours--where the snow clings to all of the trees. I love seeing evergreen trees filled with snow also... OH---what I can I say??? I love trees--and we have a 'gob' of them in our yard!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Yes, Cedar's comment said it best - 'white ribbon". I was thinking "barber pole" but that's to prosaic. It's a ribbon - lovely!

I love the patterns of the snow outlining the dark tree trunks and branches.

That tree is a snow hog: it almost looks impossible how thick it's piled up on the branches. Must be sticky snow.
