He/she looks well fed. You only have one? I'll be happy to ship you some more if you need them - take your pick of chipmunks, red squirrels, gray squirrels, woodchucks, and many smaller creatures - singles, pairs, whole families.
Shelley-He is so cute...it looks like he is posing for you! :) O' and I like the quote...it's something very important to remember. When are you coming up again?
Adorable! He is definately not a shy squirrel. An animal that poses for his picture is more of a Ham! As always, Great qote to go along with your picture!
My but I love the photo. I feed squirrels too--with a homemade feeder that I built just for them. I also build houses and mount them in the Ponderosa Pine tree in my backyard. Plus, I used to have a network of bridges for them to move about the yard, but I got tired of those and took them down. My squirrels are Chickarees (aka Douglas Squirrels) that are found nowhere but near the upper West Coast.
Hey, but I AM nice LOL (your quote). Shelly, I finally moved into the 1100 and some square feet, and it's quite a feat to get our already reduced amount of stuff in there. Didn't realize it would be this challenging - but the unpacking is almost done! Of course we have also to contend with a home association and gates (it's a gated community) - my hubby calls it teasingly "the compound" (that's what they call it in Africa)instead of the condo.
I love "Up North" and have appointed myself the unofficial travel ambassador for Northern Michigan. There are so many great things to do - visit the State Parks, ski, snowmobile, view elk, see the moose of Isle Royale, hike, kayak, visit a winery, bird watch and so much more. Please join me in my travels. -Shelley

That is a great picture, he looks like a little furry man! A friendly, furry man. How close were you to him to get this picture?
That squirrel doesn't look real..How cute a photo.
Ha ha, that is so funny. It doesn't even look real. It looks like a actor squirrel from the movies.
What a great shot!
Looks like little squirrel is saying "You want to take a picture of little ol' me? Why go right ahead!" Too cute. Welcome back!
