You always have the most beautiful pictures. I love the "Robin". We have been seeing lots of robins and cardinals...the hummingbirds should be arriving soon! :)Ginger
Your Robin is beautiful. Didn't realize it was the Michigan state bird. (Ohio's state bird is the Cardinal.) Love the quality of the light in this photo - morning or evening light?
how did you get such a wonderful shot? We have tons of robins in the yard now, but have not captured one on camera yet...they are kinda skiddish.Have a good day :)
I love "Up North" and have appointed myself the unofficial travel ambassador for Northern Michigan. There are so many great things to do - visit the State Parks, ski, snowmobile, view elk, see the moose of Isle Royale, hike, kayak, visit a winery, bird watch and so much more. Please join me in my travels. -Shelley

So Mr. Robin is your state bird??.... Ours is a Mockingbird---the one ordinary bird around here that I have NEVER seen... HA HA...
Hope you had/have a safe trip home.
Hugs,
Betsy

We have friends from England who are surprised by the robin in America. Robins in Great Britain are a different bird I gather!
I don't think I take time to appreciate the wonder of the birds I see every day...thanks for the reminder , robins really are pretty, aren't they?
He looks a little ticked off!
I woke up at 4:45am today (a rarity for me) and the robin was singing away in the dark.
