So pretty. We had our first dusting of snow here in northern Maryland. I love this time of year...as long as we get some snow. I hate long gray winters without the brightness of snow!
I love "Up North" and have appointed myself the unofficial travel ambassador for Northern Michigan. There are so many great things to do - visit the State Parks, ski, snowmobile, view elk, see the moose of Isle Royale, hike, kayak, visit a winery, bird watch and so much more. Please join me in my travels. -Shelley

Oh how we need to preserve God's beautiful world. Pictures like this are getting fewer and fewer. Love the quote...

What a beautiful photo. I hope you have a wonderful day :>)
B&P - I worry about overdevelopment and what it means to wildlife and their habitat.
Darla - Thank you! :-)
Betsy - Amen on that!
Denise - thank you! I just love nature quotes - especially Thoreau & Emerson.
I-post - I agree - I prefer the bright white fluffy snow! Thank you for coming by! I'll be over to visit your blog!
Leedra - Unfortunately it's off a semi-traveled road - but I believe its protected state land.
Charli - thank you! Same to you!
Beautiful shot and I definitely agree with that quote. :-)
That is absolutely correct, but where would that be here in SE Mo? I think everywhere around here has been tainted by man!
Beautiful words and a perfect picture to go with them,
Sending you soft wings of peace to enfold you and yours,
M
