Exquisite! I caught the same kind of butterfly yesterday but it was so sunny they turned out a little bright..I will post them later next week...I hope to get a macro lens ordered...what lens did you use for this pic?

Gorgeous. I find butterflies hard to photograph because of how active they are. This is lovely.

This is a beaut!! Hans Christian Anderson is right. I loved his stories when I was a child.

What kind of flower is that in your post called Spring? Maybe it is just the angle you took the picture from but it is not one I recognize and is really lovely.

I see this fine fella has already lost the tip of his left tail. It is a shame they lose their wings or their wings get damaged some badly.

I hope the hawks hang around this year or come back from time to time. Some years they are daily visitors and not the same hawk. Other years they are infrequent visitors and always a different one.

Last night I was sucking oxygen in living room, relaxed and watching something on cable when I saw a hummingbird at the bay window hovering and staring in. I suppose it knows the feeder is in back but that made me wonder if a feeder out front would work.???
