Morning in Gaylord

Through the blackest night, morning gently tiptoes, feeling its way to dawn.

I still had traces of yesterday's snow across the lawn and topping my rhubarb this morning. Supposed to hit the 70's again this weekend. Ahh... Living the lifestyle of a Yooper!

Oh, Shelley you're not that far! You can come share our snacks. Bring some books and a snack to share! LOL
Be sure to visit my blog tomorrow to see how I am doing.

Really gorgeous picture! I am thinking about buying some bookmarks from you to add to my book giveaways. What do think? Good idea? After the read-a-thon I will check them out.

Such a peaceful scene, Shelley...I am so waiting for the leaves to come out on your lake...it is thawed finally though, so we are closer to being able to put our dock in!!

Wonderful image in so many ways - coclor, reflection, contrast of the green trees and bare branches, and on and on. Thanks for reminding me why northern Michigan meant so much to me as a young man.
