Looks like a beautiful day!
I love that quote and I want to spend a day in your kayak!!!
Wow---you have changed everything!!! I thought I was in Fishing Guy's blog tonight.... ha ha
Hope you had a great week. I'm anxious to hear all about it--including the kayaking, the loons, Scout and Marvin, and everything else.
Hugs,
Betsy
Ohhhhhhh, so beautiful! You are also making me want to get out a book by Thoreau to read and study. Love your portraits of the lake and life you love.
Yes we should.
Beautiful...just beautiful!
Shelley-how peaceful! And we should get together for an adventure when you come up! I have access to a kayak (my brother in law just got one) maybe you can teach me? :) ttyl.

Beautiful view - I love the way the bright spots in the water almost look like stone skips (without the ripples of course!)
That just looks delightful for a summer day. You become one with the water when you kayak?

Very beautiful and serene!
Wow..beautiful and calm water! Fantastic view!
Shelley,
Wow, can't get any better than that..what a moment, what a statement and what a view! Very nice!!
The water is so clear!
Oh man I'm there! Glorious! Something
I would love to take up!Wonderful image!
What I miss most about Michigan is the clarity of the lake waters - what you captured in this photo.
Reminds me of some time I spent at a camp for kids with cancer called, Camp Quality. Thanks for the memory!
Without a doubt, Michigan has the clearest waters...
Having moved here from NW Illinois, I am still astounded by the clarity of it. I grew up with muddy creeks.
Beautiful vision of going out on the water...peaceful. Thanks for visiting me at Oasis Writing Link in Puerto Rico. I hope you come back and follow...because it's so much easier to keep in touch.
I've spent some time up north...I was born in Dearborn, Mi. You live in what most of us would call paradise. I now live in what some call paradise, too, however, it is always summer here. Where are the seasonal changes and fresh crisp mood altering temperatures?
..to be out on the water enjoying the day. Very beautiful!
